The City of Renville Establishes Economic Development Authority

 

(August 17, 2026) Renville, MN – The City of Renville is pleased to announce the creation of a City Economic Development Authority (EDA) to help promote economic growth, attract new businesses and investment, support existing businesses, and encourage job creation and community development.

 

The EDA will work with city officials, businesses, property owners, and community partners to identify economic opportunities and help advance projects that strengthen the local economy.

 

Economic Development Authority Members:

 

·         Dave Grund, City Council Representative

·         Hal LeSuer, City Council Representative

·         Stefanie Ryan, Community Member Representative

·         Janette Wertish, Community Member Representative

·         One seat remains open

 

The City is seeking an interested community member to fill the final open seat on the EDA. Residents with an interest in local business, economic growth, community development, or public service are encouraged to apply.
