Notice of Filing for City Election, Renville, Minnesota

 

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that filings for offices in the City of Renville, County of Renville, State of Minnesota, will be open from Tuesday, July 14, 2026,6 through Monday, July 27, 2026 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

            Any eligible person who desires to have his/her name placed on the official ballot as a candidate for office, shall file an affidavit with the City Clerk stating his/her residence that he/she is a qualified voter of said city, and the name of the office for which he/she desires to be a candidate.  A filing fee of $2.00 must be paid to the City Clerk at the time the affidavit is filed. 

            Officers to be voted on in the general election, and the time of each office are as follows:

 

                        Three City Council member at-large positions for four-year terms.

 

The general election in the City of Renville will be held on Tuesday, November 3^rd, 2026.
